Mac Studio FIX+ Spray Vs NYX Dewy Finish Setting Spray

vs

If like me you have skin leaning to the dry side then you tend to go for products that add moisture or a refreshing finish to your make up. Both these products do just that, but which one is better i hear you ask?

Mac Studio FIX+ Spray
Despite what you may have herd this is NOT a setting spray, however Mac promotes that it is a lightweight spray that refreshes make up for all skin types. I've used this product for the past couple of months and i have noticed it does have some setting elements as my make up lasted longer than usual, i only use a couple of sprays before applying make up and after, i've noticed that it made my make up look smooth and gave a even dewy finish. I do love this product and is perfect for day to day wear. This item retails at £17 but does last me 4/5 months, with frequent use.

NYX Dewy Finish Setting Spray
This is a setting spray and is also lightweight and aims to hold your make up with a dewy finish, NYX also have a matte shine free spray for those with oily skin. I have to say this one is a winner for me, not only does it give your make up a dewy warm glow it also lasts for days (when your to drunk to remove your make up and rush to work the next day).
Ive used this spray in hot and cold countries and it does the trick every time. Retails at £7 and worth every penny.

Serenity London Events Staffing Launch

Last night i attended the Serenity London staffing launch, held at JuJu Chelsea. The night was full of wonderful surprises, as you walked through the door you were greeted with a glass of champagne, there hospitality staff was always on hand with a banquet of cakes, brownies, samosas, spring rolls and quiche in constant rotation, that i noticed didn't run dry. There was also a magician walking around performing you're out of the ordinary tricks, which was kind of spooky. Serenity London provided a pick and mix sweet stand and photo booth to also keep you entertained. The night was very successful as i networked with a few new faces; the launch gave us a glimpse of what Serenity London
has to offer, an elegant, creative
and sophisticated business organisation.

DIY Hair Colour

I get asked a lot of questions but in particularly about how I get my hair colour. I do my own hair colour and it’s pretty simple but it can’t happen overnight, unless you wish for your hair to be left in a terrible condition along with irreversible breakage.
My go to bleach is the Goldwell oxycur platin  dust free, this bleach does not leave your hair feeling dry or brittle and lifts your hair by 5 shades mixed with any 30%  volume developer. The key to a natural looking light brown or blonde is to NOT dye all your hair at once! Instead highlight different Pieces as well as proportions of hair, over a period of time keep adding to it building up the colour. Hair should be resting in desired style, so you can see which areas to apply the dye to. Focus on the top part of your hair (around face) should contain lighter shades through it, and as you get to the bottom (nape) should be darker shades with hardly any highlights. Work from top to bottom as the bleach will start processing immediately. Cover your hair with a plastic bag or foil to assist the product.  If you
reach close to your desired colour but unsure or wouldn't like to bleach your hair again, use a High street box dye, Nice ‘n easy or L’Oréal casing crème do exactly what it says on the tin.
